The compact Prime-16's graphical power plant has been built on NVIDIA's esteemed top-end RTX 4060 and 4070 engines. Through an extensive development process, the compact Prime-16's RTX engine has been optimised in-house to deliver a sustained 140 Watt's of repeatable TGP power. This has been achieved by leveraging the Prime-16's cutting-edge cooling technology and in turn delivers extraordinary rendering power that belies it's wonderfully compact form. Fused into the Prime-16's hi-tech graphics routing circuitry is a unique hardware level dGPU (Dedicated Graphics Processor) graphics switch, that enables power-users through a simple click of a built-in software button, to actively choose between Hybrid graphics (Optimsed for Battery) or Dedicated graphics (Optimised for GPU Compute Power). In turn when the Dedicated graphics switch is enabled, GPU compute performance is boosted by up to a groundbreaking 15% compared against traditional and most commonly found Hybrid graphics processors. Together, these technologies enable the compact Prime-16 to deliver a level of graphical power well beyond its peers.

Dedicated dGPU Technology (MUXed).
The Prime-16 uniquely integrates a hardware-level graphics switch, referred to in the industry as a MUX switch, which when activated enables the Prime-16 to dedicate (dGPU Technology) all graphics commands through the NVIDIA graphics engine rather than routing graphics commands through the built-in Intel graphics engine before reaching the display output. In short this means that the Prime-16 has a direct link from the NVIDIA graphics engine to the display, reducing transmission latency and resulting in an incredible increase in graphical rendering performance, with up to a 15% increase in FPS (Frames Per Second) when compared against the traditional non-dedicated graphics system (Hybrid Graphics Technology).
Hybrid Graphics Technology (Muxless)
In a Hybrid Graphics layout, which is the standard in laptops today, the NVIDIA graphics commands go through the Intel graphics engine before outputting to the display. As a result, this inherently comes with a degree of latency.
