"Metabox", "Metabox eStore", "IT Channel Pty Ltd T/AS Metabox", "us", "we" and "our" means Metabox eStore
the "website" means Metabox.com.au
"you", "user", "member", "customer", "consumer" and "guest" means anyone who visits and/or uses this website.
"Order" or "Sale" means a purchase made by you on the website.
"Deal" or "Offer" means the specially negotiated price for the sale period
All goods sold on our website come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. In addition to the rights and remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law you may also be entitled to benefits under the terms of any additional manufacturer's warranty. The manufacturer's warranty (if it applies to your product) does not in any way affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Refunds and Returns
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind or purchased the wrong product. We recommend that you check the products specifications to ensure the purchased product/s are compatible and suitable for your requirements.
If your purchased product suffers from a major problem you are entitled to a refund.

How do I request a Refund, Return, Warranty Claim & or Consumer Guarantee Claim?
- Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it
- Is unsafe
- Is significantly different from the picture or product description
- Doesn't do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can't easily be fixed

. Please note if the product is deemed NO FAULT FOUND for any warranty claim or consumer guarantee claim, a service fee of up to $30 with any additional shipping charges may be applied.. If a product is found to have been supplied to you in full compliance with the Australian Consumer Law, we may require you pay to Metabox all costs associated with returning the product to you.
Rejection of a return, a refund, warranty claim or consumer guarantee claim
Metabox reserves the right to reject a return, a refund, warranty claim or consumer guarantee claim if consumers:
- Change their mind about a product. This includes when a consumer has found a cheaper product elsewhere, has bought a gift that is unsuitable (where the consumer has not made any specific intended use of the product known to Metabox Australia), or their circumstances have changed and they no longer require the goods.
- Caused the fault by using the product in an abnormal way. Such a use may be noted in the manufacturer's warranty as rendering it void, or it may be a use that you wouldn't reasonably expect the product to perform
- Damage the product by making alterations not performed by us.
- Damage the product where the damage is caused by any factors beyond our control.
- Are unable to provide a proof of purchase, namely a tax invoice.
- Are responsible for damaging the goods by not following the care instructions (if any are provided).
In some circumstances, we are happy to offer our consumers with a conditional courtesy return if consumers want to exchange products purchased incorrectly provided the:
Returning goods to Metabox
- customer notifies Metabox within 7 days of receipt of delivery of the product
- products are not opened, used and are still in pristine condition
- customer accepts a minimum restocking fee of 20% of the purchase price
- Metabox may reject the return upon inspecting the condition of the products and will return the products to the customer at the customer's expense. Acceptance of such returns are at the discretion of Metabox
Metabox do not take responsibility for any goods damaged or lost in transit when the customer sends the product back the Metabox service centre using their own courier service. If the customer uses their own courier service, the Metabox warranty may be void if the product is damaged in transit. Please ensure the product is packed appropriately for shipping before sending it back to us. If you are unsure about how to pack a product appropriately please contact us. The consumer is responsible for any and all charges associated with returning the goods to Metabox Australia under the Metabox Premium Care warranty and outside of warranty. Under Metabox Platinum Care, Metabox is responsible for all associated charges with returning the laptop back to the service centre, insurance is fully covered by Metabox. If the product is not packaged properly, Metabox do not take responsibility over any associated charges with repairing or fixing the damages. The warranty may also be voided as a result of such consequential daamage. Customers may personally drop goods into the Metabox service centre between 9:00am and 6:00pm Monday - Friday unless otherwise organised with staff.
Metabox Service Centre Pick Up and Ordering Policy
We are primarily an online store and therefore function differently from a traditional retail store
The following Policy is applied to help us help you.
- All pick ups can only be collected once we have processed your order and have sent you a verification email or phone call stating that your order is ready for pick up.
- All orders ready for pick up but are not picked up within 8 weeks will be classed as uncollected and therefore will be cancelled and a minimum 20% restocking fee applied
- You may use the front desk terminal to place an order on our site and pay cash over the counter
COLLECTION OF ALL ORDERS IS BETWEEN 9:00AM - 6:00PM MONDAY - FRIDAY FROM THE METABOX SERVICE CENTRE
A backorder occurs when we don't have the product in stock and is pending delivery into our warehouse. This procedure can generally take 1 - 14 days for the stock to arrive at our warehouse, but is not limited to this time frame. Usually when backorders occur we will notify you the estimated time of arrival (ETA) by email or phone.

Order Modify / Cancellation
Generally modifications to your order aren't allowable (changing items/upgrades) after your order has been put into the production queue and is in the "Production/QA" status. However, it is advisable that you contact our sales staff to assist you in the event you need to make changes. A small fee may apply to process the changes of your order is close to completion.
If you wish to cancel an order and your order has been completed along the production line, a restocking fee may apply. The restocking fee in such situations maybe as high as 5%.
Dispatch times are subject to stock availability and may vary depending on stock availability. The standard 3-5 business day processing time as listed on our website applies to all orders, unless otherwise agreed on with your sales person or stated as a special configuration on our website. If an item is out of stock, an ETA will be stated in conjunction with the product on our website.
Delivery & Return Policy
Your total cost for purchase of any product will include shipping and handling charges shown on the Metabox eStore checkout page and before you place your order online.
Items unavailable (no stock)
Items that are in stock are released for despatch first. Back-ordered items are dispatched when they become available and shipping charges in such situations are covered by Metabox.
Any items that are unavailable due to a change in stock availability will be placed on back order. Metabox will endeavour to fulfil your backorder as soon as possible and will notify you or update your item status with ETAs where possible. You may request a modification, refund or store credit for the item/s.
Payment Ways & Terms
Orders: An order is not binding upon Metabox Australia until it is accepted & approved by Metabox Australia. Metabox Australia must receive full payment before it will accept, approve & process an order. Payment for product(s) ordered is due prior to shipment & back orders (pre-order).
Metabox Australia only accept payments made by:
- Credit or Debit Card - Mastercard, Visa, American Express
- Direct Deposit transfer only - Online Bank Transfer
Credit Card Fee: We have 1.5% Credit Card Bank Transaction Fee on VISA, MasterCard. And a 3.5% Fee on American Express.
Metabox Credit Card Verification
As part of our verification process we will utilise various procedures to ensure ultimate protection to the Credit Card holder.
These processes may include but not limited to charging a small amount randomly under $2 requiring confirmation prior to approval; verbal verification via phone or a request for photo identification including valid Driver Licence, Utilities bill or the copy of the credit card.
Please note: Metabox reports all attempted credit card fraud immediately to Australian Federal Police (www.afp.gov.au)
Metabox Dollar (credit)
- Metabox Dollar cannot be redeemed for cash
- Metabox Dollar is not transferable and refundable
- Metabox reserves the right to change the terms and condition of Metabox Dollar program without further notice
Product Information Policy
Our website is updated frequently to ensure that you'll view the latest products and correct pricing available, and that you receive all of the latest savings. At the time you make a purchase you agree to the listed price. The listed price is subject to change.
Metabox reserves the right to make changes and corrections in prices, products and specifications without notice due to errors arising from misprints, technical and human errors.
Product Images and other Images
All third party product images on Metabox Australia website may vary from the actual product. Metabox products themselves will not vary. All typographical errors are subject to correction. Please note that images are only to be used as a point of reference and are not indicative, in any way, of the actual product.
Product Descriptions and Specifications
Please be assured that Metabox make every effort to ensure product description accuracy, however specifications, features, documents and graphics published may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. If an error is made or a product is listed at an incorrect price, Metabox will endeavour to correct the error as soon as possible.
Should you receive an order which does not match the online product description please contact Metabox Australia.
Please note that product availability is subject to change at any time. Stock showing as available at time of ordering may sell out and therefore be on backorder. Metabox will endeavour to fulfil your order as soon as possible and will notify you or update your item status with ETAs where possible. Should suppliers also not have the product in stock then you may request a modification, refund or store credit.

Metabox.com.au does not accept any responsibility for errors made by companies such as MyShopping, StaticIce etc who retrieve data from our site and list it on their own. In these circumstances it is the end users responsibility to ensure that what they are ordering is correct. If you have any questions concerning a product please do not hesitate to contact us, please keep in mind we do not refund or exchange for incorrect purchases.

All personal information is used to ensure efficient processing of your order. This information is used by our staff for contacting and identifying customers and their needs. We will not give, sell, rent, or loan any identifiable personal information to any third party, unless we are legally required to do so.
